Hi! I'm Jess, the founder of Headbands of Hope. It's hard to pick my favorite donation because there's been so many (70,000 to be exact!). However, I must say that my first ever donation at Children's Hospital of LA is the one that sticks out the most...

It was the first time I ever got to see the work I had done finally give back. I saw how much the kids loved the headbands and how it was such a fun and special moment for them. It was this donation that made me want to make Headbands of Hope huge...

I remember this sweet girl even put a headband on her teddy bear! She was also a great singer, she even performed for me :)

It's so amazing to look back on the first donation and see how far we've come. It was that donation that really gave me the passion and confidence to keep working hard and help more kids.
